All thing erased
« on: August 03, 2007, 02:16:20 am »
Hello,

I have got a problem.
I downloaded Alt.binz on my Vista Computer.
Now the problem is: everytime i close alt.binz everything is erased.
Only the server is there, all the other options are gone.
And also the file i was downloading is gone in the queue.

How can i fix this?

Also when i double click on a nzb file, he opens a NEW alt.binz, while the other is still open..

Sounds like a similar Vista problem to this one:

Perhaps one of those suggested solutions will work for you.  Other users have reported that Alt.binz works fine in Vista, though.

Alt.Binz needs to save settings and data to the \misc folder.  If you have UAC enabled, as I'm sure you know, you can't write to anything under Program Files unless you're running as Admin.  0.25.0 should be UAC-compatible (i.e. it should save everything in your user folder, not under Program Files).  Obviously it worked for you before, so something on your system must have changed.  Either track down the UAC problem and reinstall, run Alt.binz as Admin, or (better) install Alt.Binz outside of Program Files.

Edit:  I see you've started another thread, so I'll close this one.
