Altbinz as default for nzb's in Firefox
« on: December 11, 2010, 01:12:03 am »
I have seen this posted previously, but can't find a solution. How can I make Firefox recognise Altbinz as the default program to open nzb files? Is this still a bug in Firefox?

Is this not working for you:

FF > Tools > Options > Applications > nzb > Use other > pick Alt.Binz

You might have entries for text/nzb or application/x-nzb or other, depending.

No, Altbinz is shown as the "helper" program, but each time I have to "browse" and then "browse" again to have FF open Altbinz. ETA: Interestingly my xp pc works properly but Win7 laptop doesn't.
