« on: April 12, 2011, 01:30:25 am »
Need help have a file association Problem I have already tryed the recommended option which is to right click on the .nzb file and try to choose a program but when I click onto the nzb file it does not work. My machine is windows 7 64bit. When i had the free version installed I never had this problem. I also tried changing the setting through the default programs option still nothing.

I figured out how to fix this little glitch.

First make sure that you have the free version v(0.25.0) installed and working on your machine with file associations.

The free version once installed should make all the file associations with Alt.binz if not you should be able to right click the .nzb file and click open with and find the free version (old version) of alt.binz. Then go to c:\Program Files(x86)\AltBinz delete the altbinz file and replace it with your newer version. All shortcuts will work as well as your file associations. From now on this is how I will do my upgrade just go to that folder location delete the old version and copy/past the new version in that exact same spot. I hope this helps you guys if anyone needs additional help I would be more than happy to try. :0)
