Always opens a second window
« on: September 30, 2009, 03:23:26 pm »
I have used alt.binz in XP and both Win7 beta and RC without problems. Now I'm running the full version of Windows 7 Professional I installed it again and for some reason when I open an nzb file it opens a second window and only one window will actually work at a time.

The other instance of the program will either sit there with a blank look on it's face or it will crash. Has anyone experienced this before or know how to simply add files to the queue within the same instance of the program?

u can either download and advise the browser to open it with the standart app for the filetype (set altbinz as standart for nzbs) or define an an auto import folder in the settings. altbinz will then scan the folder every second and as soon as nzbs are saved there they will get added to the queue.

I never had to do that before and it doesn't explain the strange crashing (Runtime error 217)...

The good news is that after a reboot the problem seems to have fixed itself and I can now download several files in the same window and no more crashes :)
