I recently bought a premium account on NewzBin.com and downloaded Alt.Binz 0.24.2 and I got the program I wanted to download to show up under the Download Queue in Alt.Binz, but it won't connect and I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong. Like I say I'm a newbie.

Have you set up your Server Information? You need to go to Setup in Alt.Binz and select the Servers Options. You enter the information in the "Server Properties" with the correct address of your Usenet Server.
For instance:(This is just an example and you will have to find the correct information from your Usenet Service Provider)
I use GigaNews as my Usenet Server.
I enter GigaNews as the name.
I enter news.giganews.com as the address.
I enter the number of connections I am allowed - 10
and then leave all information as is, except if your server requires authentication, which most do, you enter your username and password.
After you have all this information in, hit the "Add as Primary" and it will show up on your list of servers. Hit the Ok button and now your servers should be set up.
Now you have the file you want to download, you click on the CONNECT button in the Upper Left hand corner of Alt.binz and if everything goes well, you will get your file.
You should really look at all the selections of the Setup to see where all the files are going to be going, if you have the Pars2 and Unrar the way you want, etc. But if you follow the above info, that should get you started downloading you files.
