Alt.Binz legal concerns
« on: January 06, 2013, 12:41:42 pm »
I am just wondering if it is possible they could ever go after Alt.Binz ? Basically the programs we all use to use newsgroups. What would happen if they did? Has this ever happen ?

Yes, software has been the target before BUT... things like limewire were a little different as the software shared local content and connected to others to enable transfer. With usenet if legal action was taken it would be taken against providers... not software as with Alt.Binz it is mearly a gateway to other providers.

On top of that I see absolutely nothing within Alt.Binz thats even remotely against any laws.
