automatic & manual par2 re-checking

I found that after par2 checks the file sets at the start of AB it does not seem to update the block counts when I download further rar files or when I complete the incomplete files. Also it seems to wait a while/unknown length of time before it will autorar/autorepair after all the blocks are complete

Is there anyway to manually get par2 to re-check individual file sets [without having to restart AB and wait for it to check every single file set]? And is there anyway to get par2 to automatically re-check file sets at short/adjustable time intervals?

For example, QuickPar v0.9.1 updates quickly and it can be set to autorepair

I was wondering this too.
I have had a number of issues recently such as power outages computer freeze etc that have interrupted sessions.
Thankfully my issues have been addressed in this area now.
However I did notice that when I restarted a collection (to download the remaining rars), I would manually import the downloaded Par2 file and AB would check the already downloaded rars but not any downloaded after this. Is there any way to reactivate the checking? It would be great to have a 'check' option in the right-click menu. Perhaps I should have posted this in the request section?
