PC goes to standby
« on: November 30, 2008, 03:32:57 pm »
It appears my PC goes to standby when downloading.  For some reason the activity on the network card isn't keeping the idle timer reset.  I have my network Power Management options set with all the checkboxes checked.  This is so that I can used Wake-On-Lan to turn on the computer:

- Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
- Allow this device to wake the computer
- Only allow management stations to wake the computer

Perhaps it would be a good option to add to alt.binz (this is an excellent program by the way!).  I think the Windows API "SetThreadExecutionState" would do the trick.

At least if there was an option for this feature it would be great!

Thanks!
