Browser Wont Work
« on: April 16, 2010, 11:39:38 am »
Hi All,
I'm new to alt binz.
I have a problem i hope someone can help with.
When i have alt binz downloading, i cannot use my browser or check my email, etc etc
i run a home network and no one else, laptops, desktops, can access their browsers either.
If you try and bring up say, google.com all you get is a server not found message.
As soon as i disconnect alt binz, everyone can access google.com for example.
Its like the program is using all my line speed or something.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so any solutions ?/

Thanks

well thats what alt.binz essentialy is designed for, to max out your broadband connection. use the scheduler or the permanent speedlimit in alt.binz controll the usage of the bandwidth.

...
Speed Limit: Alt.Binz will start with a specific speed limit. (scheduler overwrites this). Better set scheduler and enable 'autopush scheduler button')

Still, this cannot be explained like that. Maybe you have some strange low connection limit on your router or forced by your internet provider.
