Can someone explain me the thread decoder priorities?

Hi guys!

I just checked the settings of altbinz and noticed in misc these options :

Download Priority

Decode Priority

Par2/repair priority

All three are set to normal by default


I have a pretty powerful laptop with latest i7 and GPU and I was wondering how I can optimize these settings

If I put anything on Time Critical or Highest will I have any negative issues? How do these priorities work in relate with each other?

Which priorities should I use for very good performance machine?

Just forcing system thread priorities for given threads/tasks. I wouldn't change anything, it made sense 10 years ago, not now.
