How do I find (and replace) broken file parts?
« on: September 09, 2012, 05:10:24 pm »
Apologies if this is answered somewhere I've not been able to find or if it's all just assumed knowledge and I'm too new to realise that.

I've attempted my first download with Alt.Binz and the process has not produced an unrar'ed file.

The PAR2 tab shows 2 rar parts highlighted in red. I'm guessing that they are corrupted or broken in some way as they are both present in the download folder.

There are several paused PAR2 files listed in the download queue but I'm guessing these aren't able to be used to repair the missing files (I'm not able to decipher the naming convention so I can't tell for myself).

I've added a backup news server and reloaded the NZB but this hasn't made any difference.

How do I recover from here?

Disregard.

Something happened and the missing parts have magically appeared and the file unrar'ed successfully.

Would be nice to know what fixed it.  ???
