Hey guys!
new to all this but I must say it's the Rolls Royce of downloading. Got a bit of a problem though. Downloaded a set of Rar's but was intrigued to see that for the first time Alt.Binz kept saying "decoding" as it went onto the rar to download. Unusual thought I, but perhaps it was waiting to unrar them all for me at the end. I could see that the temp folder was filling up with data but still no rar's in the download file. After checking the log I saw a load of errors that the filename was too long (it was a biggy). I have now renamed the group, all the data is present in the temp folder (Folders of long alphanumeric names filled with files called partxxx) but how do I now get the program to go back through that information and assemble my rar's?
Must be a way but I haven't the foggiest. Can anyone help?
Much obilged,
Bub

Try this manual solution:
ManYencDecode.rar (http://www.celebritypwn.com/altbinz/ManYencDecode.rar)
Put it in your temp folder. It will decode & delete all files from temp subfolders to temp folder

to avoid that problem in the future, try another location for your temp folder with a shorter path like c:\temp

omg, thank you so much. i ran into this problem today because i downloaded something on a slow hard drive and closed altbinz before it finished decoding but manyenc built the rars for me. happy days ! :)
