Unraring to external device
« on: January 10, 2009, 12:05:48 pm »
Hi,

I use the usenet reader alt.binz on my PC to download, parcheck and unrar movies. I have been using this for over a year, and it has worked perfectly.

Yesterday I finally got my HDX-1000, a media streaming device. I have set up a drivemapping from my PC to the harddrive on the HDX. The drive is mapped to z:

In alt.binz I have changed the download location from c:\download to z:\video. This almost work as intended. Alt.binz now downloads directly to z:\video, and after download is complete it performs the parcheck. However, for some reason it dos not unrar. It just stops after finishing the par check. If I change download patch back to c:\download, everything work as it should.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Suggestions on how to solve this is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
ErikX

What does your Log report at the unrar stage?
