Queue Monitoring
« on: July 17, 2008, 12:15:21 pm »
Just moved to AltBinz from newsleecher. I primarily used newsleecher as a simple download server e.g I had NL sitting on a server monitoring a directory for nzb's. When an nzb was found in that dir (I added it over local network) then NL would import the nzb, connect to the news-server, download the files and then after 5 mins of idle would disconnect. This just went on looping the same thing. Perfect.

Using AltBinz I can get it to monitor and import but it will not auto connect and then disconnect. I sits there disconnected, I have to manually go onto the server and click the start button.

Any one know how or is this something that AltBinz is not capable of?

thanks
Rim

Check the settings for something like "push connect button on start" and "disconnect when idle". With last one enabled it will still connect when new NZB is imported.

this is true even though the connected button is still highlighted... you can check wether altbinz has disconnected by looking at the log or easier by looking at the threads in the download tab, where it should say idle.
