Hi RDL, I'm getting a connection via supernews but its unbeleivably slow :-(
any ideas please ?
Ive just upped to the latest, but still the same.

Define slow? Your connection speed? Speed you're getting? Computer specs? With other programs?

Hi running vista - 5 - 15 kb/s
bullguard as AV but Altbinz is allowed in firewall settings - and its still the same if off ! :-(

yeah same shit started happening to me all of a sudden I use astraweb, tried switching servers nothing seems to work... my speeds right now are a whopping 2kb/s there suppose to be 2080kb/s lol

It looks like something is scanning nntp traffic?

Please try uninstalling bullguard (yes uninstall, not disable) just to confirm it is the problem.
