hi i just installed altbinz and im new to usenet and all this stuff.
I installed the program correctly and i used the usnetfreak guide that some of you guys posted. I followed every step, but it seems i cant connect to anything.I think i configurated wrong cuz i have no idea what the server address is (im using newzleech). As the guide said, in the server properties in the setup. I typed MyServer in teh server name but in the address the guide said that the address usually starts with news. I had no idea wat it meant so i typed news.newzleech.com and i put 5 connections. Did i do somthing wrong cuz im a noob at this . ( btw im running on vista but im logged in the admin. I hope i explained well and i hope u guys can help me.

You need valid news server. Either find some free one, pay for premium usenet access or open trial account on www.hlned.com or www.hitnews.eu

ok
i have comcast so i put in the address  newsgroups.comcast.net and i checked the box that said server requiers authentication and i put my comcast username and password. But when i try to connect it says it doesnt work and it says 502 access denied via @comcast.net auth server. What does that mean? Plz help

If it's your inet service provider, try without user/pass. It means that server doesn't let you authenticate.
