connection max = 5, denied 5th connection...
« on: January 05, 2009, 10:31:06 am »
my isp allowes me to use 5 simultaneous connections. Somewhere along the way the client has stopped connecting to the fifth. Max reconnects was the error given in the last client that experienced this and because, migrated from. That last client's connection settings eventually caused the isp's server to deny access. I have donated and would hate to have a similar situatiation present itself here. It seems like a common issue and would appreciate any feedback or links you may provide to relevant threads. thank you.

This is clearly a matter to take up with your NSP.  Why exactly do you think it's am Alt.Binz issue?  It's certainly not a "common issue".  Most likely the server isn't terminating the connections properly - complain to your NSP about the crappy service, or just sign up with a better priovider.

Astraweb is currently offering $11 per month for 20 connections & unlimited downloads, retention growing to 270 days, you won't get any better than that ...
