Trouble downloading...
« on: March 14, 2012, 05:55:29 pm »
I've been using altbinz for about a year and a half on my computer and recently purchased a new one so obviously I wanted to move altbinz over to the new one. I copied it and pasted it to an ext hd and then to my new laptop. When I tried downloading a movie at nzbmatrix, it prompted me what program I wanted to use for the download so I chose altbinz and the movie showed up in the que. The problem is that it just sits there and doesn't start downloading. How do I get it to start downloading?? Thanks.

Does it have defined servers? Is the connect button pressed?

I've made sure I pressed the connect button but not sure what you mean by defined servers. I don't know a whole lot about how this works.

Hi,

I am having trouble downloading. I had Alt Binz on my computer for a number of years, no probs until today. I hadn't used it in a number of weeks, recieved the message "Alt.Binz - Usenet progy has stopped working, A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you is a solution is avaialable" I uninstalled, made a donation and downloaded the newest versions, same message appears when I try to open it. Repeated the process a few times, no joy. Im on Vista 32 bit, I hadn't been messing about with firewalls etc. prior to this problem. Any pointers most welcome.

First step would be to clear all configs.
For possible locations see FAQ - https://www.altbinz.net/forum/new-alt-binz-versions/faq/
