Damaged queue.abz
« on: August 13, 2008, 05:13:07 pm »
My computer crashed (software, not hardware :) ).
And when I come home, and try to start Alt.Binz application crash.
First thing was to make a backup of misc directory.
Then start alt.binz and it's worked.
I copy back, to old place, all files except queue.abz, and that worked.
When I copy queue.abz alt.biz crash, everytime.

Any help ?

Thank you in advance.

Same problem here.

Windows crashed, queue seems to be corrupt.

Any fix?

if there are queue tmp files rename them to queue.abz.

If not close alt.binz, delete queue.abz and par2info.abz and restart it
i am sorry but you have to set the queue again in this case

This may help. I had the same problem. What I did was I overwrote altbinz0282 with altbinz0.27.1, just the exe. It found the corrupt queue.abz and asked if I wanted to load it anyway, I said yes. It showed a bunch of garbage lines after my last good que line, I deleted them. I then overwrote the exe back with my latest one. Worked for me.
