unrar problem???
« on: June 26, 2009, 08:24:16 pm »
not sure if this is a bug or an option im missing.
when dl a rar set with no par files the set does not get auto unrared.
if there are par2 files then they appear in the par2 tab and get unrared ok.

it happened more than once,

so my question is, if this is the normal behavior?

using 0.31.1

There are a few open requests about using sfv files to verify the rar set if no par2 is available.  No verification at all is not really a good idea.  You can always use WinRAR instead, of course.

As a sidenote: if the poster doesn't include any par2s, it's 99% certain that they don't know what they're doing, and are most likely posting crap.  Usenet is an idiot magnet, so in the long run it's worth being selective and only using reliable sources .... ;)
