Title: download folder and temp on different hdd?

I was wondering if this would help performance or just decrease it.
I do have my unrar folder on a different hdd cause I know that definitely helps

Yes, it would help performance, as you'd be minimizing writes to the same drive.  But you'll get better results if you enable article caching so that the temp folder doesn't need to be used at all - instead, the article parts will be kept in memory until they can be  decoded and the assembled files written to the dl folder.
