Long time user of alt binz. vers. 0.25.0 27.09.2007
When I opened altbinz today I got a popup window asking for a donation, and everything in my download queue was gone. That was the first time i ever got the pop up, and the first time the download queue ever disappeared.
Is it possible to rescue my download queue?

my settings have been reset too. PLEASE tell me I can get all my data back somehow. A lot of work went into building that download queue. :(

sounds like u opend a different altbinz.exe
the described usually happens only the first time after installation... so find the location where u installed altbinz long time ago and it should work again...

tried it, same thing. I installed alt binz like a year ago. The download queue disappeared at the same time as the "donate now" pop up. My settings were reset too, but curiously the server information is still there. ???

I didnt install a new copy either. there's only the one i put on a year ago and I never changed it after i got it working.

Search your entire system for queue.abz and config.abz. Vista, by any chance? Then check your user directory, including virtual store. Make sure you have read access everywhere, and that you haven't logged in as a different user. If you can find two copies each of those files, you're in luck.

i had the same problem a few months ago.
i started up abz and it was reset to default settings. everything gone.
this might happen if abz didn't quit properly the day before. at least that's what i think it was cause my pc crashed that day with abz still opened. i never had this problem again but since that day i always keep a backup of my settings as it's really painful to restore all those settings including rss stuff.
feeling with you, dude... :-\

winXP. file extension abz doesnt show up in a search for some reason. i have one config.abz and queue.abz in the program folder, the queue.abz being empty. I checked the user and administrator application, local settings and temp files, no luck. Didn't log in as different user.
So it just vanished? I wonder if a system restore would bring it back?
