I was downloading something earlier today when my computer randomly turned off. I was unplugging my headphone out the back and i must of hit the power switch? anyway once i figured out my computer wasnt dead and flicked the switch back on i tried opening Alt.binz and it was taking awhile to load - windows vista was saying not responding for awhile then it finally loaded with no download queue.
Is there anyway to get the queue back? i was not saving the nzbs to my hard disk, i was importing them straight to alt.binz.
I checked C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Alt.Binz\misc and the file queue.abz is only 12 bytes in size. The download, temp and nzb folder are all empty.
This is really frusturating, i had hundreds of nzbs (tiny scrollbar) queued which are now gone. I barely remember any but i wouldnt have queued them if they werent important. Anyway the few i do remember i try download today and when they get added to the download queue there is a (1) next to the filename.
Any help is appreciated.. thanks

If you're using 0.25.0, then sadly not. Later versions have a queue backup feature, and also handle very large queues much more efficiently. With 0.25.0, it's best to save NZBs to file and queue them up when you actually need them, IMHO.
Maybe try System Restore ...

Yep that's the version. i did try system restore but the queue was still gone. The wierd thing is when i add some nzbs i know i had queued before this problem there is either a (1) or (2) next to them in the list which means it is a duplicate in the download queue..

with the new version will it actually sort my list of nzbs in the download queue in alphabetical order if i press the "subject" tab at the top? or from small to large size if i hit the "size" tab? pressing these in the free version does nothing. also the newzleech and binsearch search tabs at the top never show any results.

Setup > User Interface > Allow collections sort

That didnt change anything, nothing happens when i press the tabs at the tpo to sort them. This is strange..

Make sure you deselect any collection first by clicking in a blank space or CTRL + click, otherwise the collection will be sorted internally instead.
