Speed Limit Reverting Automtically
« on: September 29, 2010, 02:45:14 am »
Hi,
I have been using the free version for about a year and thought it was about time I paid and got the new version (great job by the way)
Quick query though ... previously I would set the speed percentage to say 10% (bottom left corner in gui) and it would stay there for ever.

However with the latest version I set it and it only stays restricted for 20-30 seconds, then reverts back to unlimited.
There may be a new way of doing this which I haven't realised, but having a search of the forum, its nothing that I can see .... Any ideas?

When upgrading I simply overwrote the existing .exe and lang directory to upgrade if that makes a difference?

Cheers
Fin.

No one else experianced this?
I'll do a complete uninstall tonight and try again to see if it makes any kind of difference.

my guess would be u are useing the scheduler. the scheduler overrides manual speed limits, so if u disable the scheduler during that time it shouldn't revert to full speed automaticaly
