Title: error since updating to 38.0

Since updating to 38.0 version on my home machine the program seemed to hang when starting stuck with the authentication pop up I cleared my login and re-entered it but now i get an error in the response box

looks like basic html code from the forum instead of the authentication ok. I tried using the older versions 37.4 same thing happens.

When I use ver 38.0 on my work machine works fine

Anyone have any idea whats happend? or what iI can do to resolve this?
