i am having issues connecting to the above  using news.optusnet.com.au any advice greatly appreciated cheers and thanks

I realise this post is a bit old but thought I'd post in case the OP was still wondering.

According to http://help.optuszoo.com.au/learning/newsgroups "The Optus Newsgroup service will be closing down on 21/11/11" - ie it closed last November.
