what to do when started downloading to soon
« on: January 21, 2007, 05:06:56 am »
Hi There, :D
Is there a redownload option like grabit has (RMB retry selected)  :?:
I was a bit hasty and downloaded 40 rarfiles of a total of 100 so far, but Uploading by the poster is not finishid yet.

If the scenario was that you've downloaded nzb file posted by poster, imported&started downloading that nzb (but poster is not done with uploading) then you'll end up with many missing files (430 article not found) Solution is to either wait for post to finish or enable in program to wait and retry on 430 (setup->connection->retry count&retry delay)

Thanks, I adjusted the settings.

I'm downloading approx 10GB, the poster will be finished sundaymorning 5 AM. So you can imagine me trying to download in advance.

What will happen when a downloaded rarfiles is incomplete :?:  In my scenario there are always 4 rarfiles incompletely downloaded. because posting is not finished yet.
Will these files be downloaded again :?:

Aah wait, I see how it works.
It pauses for the given time  'retry delay' (in my case 10 min) and continues with the same rarfile after 10 min.
In my case it stopped for part rarfile.part088 at 76%, paused here and continued downing after 10 min.

Thanks and what a great program  :!:  :!:  :!:  :!:  :!:  :!:  :D  :D  :D  :D  :P  :P :P :P
