Title: Getting Two Simultaneous Servers to Work?
Post by: Engy on July 13, 2007, 04:18:43 pm
Hey all,

I'm having a problem with getting two different servers working at the same time, I don't need one of them to be a back up server as they are both unlimited accounts. One server is provided free with my ISP and the other is with Usenetserver.

Normally with programs like Newsbin I would see 20 connections (10 from each server) but with Alt.Binz, I only see 10.If I add two primary servers it still only shows 10 connections and also seems to screw my download up.

Anyone out there got 2 servers running in this way?

Thanks.

So, you've added both servers as primaries, each with 10 connections, and ticked both, and it's not working?  Which server is failing?  What are exactly are you seeing in the Connection panel (F9)?  What do you mean by "screw my download up"?  More info, please.

Or to trouble-shoot the problem yourself, try testing each server on its own to see if it's authenticating properly.

Thanks for the reply.

I re-installed it and it worked first go 8) Added both servers as primary and it's now showing 20 connections :)
