Alt.Binz window starts shifted and not maximized
« on: January 04, 2010, 09:01:16 am »
How do I solve this? Everytime when starting the program I need to press the little square on the top right corner to get full screen vision. Work with Windows 7. I did check the appearance box in the quick launch icon to be maximized when starting but nevertheless :-\

This could be a Windows 7 issue. Have this problem with more programs (but not all). Internet Explorer, Outlook 2010.

Same problem here, working with XP Pro SP3. So it's not a Win7 issue.

Maximized modus has more little glitches. Example: maximize the screen, then minimize to task bar (system tray won't work, see other topic). When restored from the task bar Alt.Binz seems to be maximized. The middle icon on the top right can only be used to make the screen smaller and the complete screen can not be shifted. However: it actually is not maximized, other screens are visible along the right side.
Solution is simple: click the middle icon on the top right to make screen smaller. Then, click this button again to maximize. Then it really is maximized (until the next restore).

Oh well, the screen is not what is supposed to be. The program itself work well though. I just moved up from 0.28.1 to 0.31.1 and I am really happy  ;)

I can't reproduce those errors with XP SP3 & Alt.Binz < v.0.31.3.  Works here just like any other Windows app.

reproduced here everytime, rdp'd into a server2k3 machine, can live with it for now though until the next release, where skins can hopefully be disabled.

Thank you Spookrijder, for now I suppose it's something I have to live with. Love the program though. Greetings to Drenthe from Noord-Holland :)
