Title: Hanging, Crashing, now no connections

I've been using alt.binz for a while now, and now on my laptop suddenly alt.binz started hanging whenever it would start to download a file, checked the autoimport thing etc.

So I upgraded to the latest version and got rid of all my preferences and the things in appdata, now whenever I click connect, no threads appear in the connections list at all, tried this a few times now, anyone got any answers?

Presumably you re-entered your server settings, and these were saved properly to the \misc folder, wherever that is? If in doubt, delete everything Alt.Binz related in your users folder, place altbinz.exe in a new folder outside of Program Files and set up again from there.  Otherwise, firewall?

And as ever, check your Log for any error messages.

Resolved, thanks, after multiple restarts and moving folders, deleting etc, who knows what happened but it's working now at least.
