Title: Has my Par been successful?
Post by: phatz on November 17, 2009, 12:17:36 am
HI sorry if this is a newby question.

I have downloaded some NZB's. When the items in these NZB's are successfull they go green in the Par2 tab and say they have successfully been unrarred.
ok however when I close altbinz and reopen it the par2 are red stay red not green as they were but they say they have been succesfully unrared with the unrar icon with a green tick on.
Does this mean that they are good to go? I assume that when they unrarred the first time the par2 files were deleted as part of the clean up process and hence cannot be reverified again..and remain red. I just want to know that if the unrar icon has a green tick on its safe to say all is well.

Thanks for any advice.

Well, did the files unrar to your destination directory or not?

you probably have "recheck all par2 sets on start" activated, but altbinz deletes the par2 file after all is successfull.
Meaning if you restart altbinz there is no par2 file anymore and the download will turn red.

All is fine

disable "recheck all par2 sets on start", enable "delete par2" in settings->par2 and use a short autocleanup in settings->misc about 1-10 min and this phenomenom will most likely disapear
