HELP!!!!...0.25.0 crashes in decoding!!!!
« on: September 13, 2010, 11:36:31 pm »
Hi Forum Members

I'm new to the forum, so please bear with me.

Basically my alt.binz crashes when decoding,

I'm trying to download, an nzb and each rar insdie the nzb is 46 characters long and the full path is 92 characters long, after trawling through the forums and the wiki its still ahppening, i tried shortening the file path which was no success, I've tried re-installing with no success and also having been monitoring the logs while the files download no where does it say that the filename length is too long

from further reading i've learnt that 0.26 and above handled this alot better and didnt crash when decoding,

But apparently only 0.25 is freeware anything above is reserved for contributers, Being new here I have no idea what that means, So if someone could please help me

thanks

Does your Log report anything at all?  Only this NZB, or all NZBs?

As for your other question: click the Donate button on the main toolbar and follow the instructions. ;)

that sounds like it might be the pathlength limitation of windows hindering alt.binz to created the downloaded files... shortening the download path could help.
