1) Maybe the group column is too small? Dont know but could be possible. Or the groups are not correctly retrieved from the server. What do you want to do with this tab?
2) It is always possible that files are corrupt. Did you try to fix them with par2?

Ps: Next time please use proper capitalization and punctuation. Almost impossible to read your post. :)

1: Newsgroup Tab is only for choosing favorites for XPAT search, that has nothing to do with header downloading. Instead you can choose a group (for example in newleech tab) and press "browse"

2: See http://www.altbinz.com/wiki/index.php/Quick_Start_Guide ( Set up download processing options )

Alt.Binz will repair the missing file automatically if it is set up properly, and there are enough PAR2 files posted with the .rars.  Follow this setup guide:

I see the file that you are talking about. It is like 64 days old and should be ok to download, depending on your NNTP Server. This is the XVid Version, Right?

I will try to download it later on today and let you know how it goes.

I think there is something wrong with your setup:

If you have "Autoimport NZB files from folder" (Setup-> NZB) activated and that folder is your default download folder. that could lead to problems. Deactivate that option or change that folder. I think alt.binz tries to autoimport nzb from rar file, but cannot find one, so it deletes it.

NOTE: All Folders in setup should be different!

If that doesn't help plz post us your log. Answer is 99% in your log

Nick,

I just downloaded all the files that you mentioned and had no problems downloading, pars2 checking, and unraring the complete movie.

I would say that this might be your server problem as Alt.Binz had no problem at all.

And, please, try to start a new Post instead of hijacking someone else's. It gets confusing trying to reply to your post and someone else has replied to the originator's post.

Again, there was no problems at all when I download "Trading Places - 1983; posted by Nadadouro" or even "Trading Places.part11.rar" yEnc English - posted by Nadadouro (201/201).

Hope this helps...

Er, now this is just getting confusing.  I was replying to nickpopara, although the same point applies to fireflash. :)

Nickpopara, you stated that you've only been able to download (& unrar?) a complete file once, all the other times at least 1 rar file was missing.  But you can't see any of the already downloaded rar files in your download directory at all?  Or you can, but you just can't unrar the archive, i.e. you're not seeing the final movie in your unrar destination folder because Alt.Binz hasn't repaired/replaced the missing rar file?

Can you please answer these questions, and confirm your setup, and whether you followed the Quick Start guide.
