Hi got sick of virgin cutting me off for using emule and torrents so thought i'd give newsgroups a go
I've signed up for astraweb membership and downloaded and installed alt.binz.
I've followed several of the quick start/muppet guides, I've connected and autheticated to there server.
The problem I'm having is I can't get any search results, if I enter text in the search box and click I get 'error during transfer'?
I'm new to this so not too clued up, I run my pc in a dmz on the router so that hopefully isn't fudging with it.
I've disabled the Windows firewall, anti VIR and Adaware. ( the usual stuff people click when something they dont understand doesn't work
)
Any help would be greatly appreciated as this newsgroup gig sounds good and I've signed up for a monthly sub!!
