Download missing blocks only?

Is it possible to just download the missing blocks for the rar file you need instead of having to grab the whole rar file?

IE when you have all the pars for something and you still need blocks.

You can see that file01.rar has 2 of 6 blocks. IS there a way to get alt.binz just to have another go for the 4 missing blocks?

I've got my retry set to 99 at 10 min intervals.

and yes I know the blocks are there cos if I grab the full 50mb file again I get it complete.

How this makes some sort of sense if not please let me know.

And what happens when program tries again missing articles after 10min pause? Server responds with 430 article not found?

What seems to cause to issue is if the news server craps out halfway through the down load.

Koala users will know what I'm on about here.

I'm not sure what it does on a retry. But will turn on the logging and try and catch it in the act.

I'm not faulting alt.binz in any way just wondering if there is a way just to get those missing blocks again. When the news server works again.

and to all those about to say CHANGE NEWS SERVER. Its a free one that comes with the ISP. That I'm trying to use to save my download quota a bit.
