Title: How can I discribe to new newsgroups
Post by: Ben Onbekend on July 06, 2007, 01:36:13 am
How can I discribe to new newsgroups, for instead,  I can subscribe in newsleecher to alt.binaries.Ww2ma, that means that my provider (eweka) give me access to this group, but when I try to find some files in this group with the search buttons in Altbinz, I find nothing at all.
So how can I find this newsgroup?

Ths short answer is that you can't, since newsgroup subscription is for header downloading only, and Altbinz doesn't do that.

As for alt.binaries.ww2ma - you're out of luck there, as none of the search engines (including NLSS) seem to index it.  Back to Newsleecher for you, it seems . :)

Strange, because the newsgroups are not updated anyway, so how can i update the newsgroups, or is this something in the altbinz program?
