Title: how do i get the new, 0.39.9 working

I have down load the 0.39.9 but it has no installer now i cant down load any thing 039.4 puts it program files and adds a short cut but 0.39.9 will not if any one can help ..please mail me as i am not to good at these thing thanks :'(

Close 0.39.4, download 0.39.9 zip, unpack it where 0.39.4 was installed, overwrite files and then run altbinz via old shortcut.

I'm also having problems....I downloaded 39.9 into the folder where 39.4 was, tried to unzip, and files will overwrite till I get to altbinz.exe.  Got an error message "Cannot create altbinz.exe.  Access is denied"  From that point everything stops.  What can I do to fix this? Would it help to delete the original version of altbinz that I had before and start fresh?

It looks like either altbinz process is running or you don't have permissions to write to that folder. Start task manager and see if altbinz.exe process is running. If yes - kill it and try overwriting again.
If not try "Would it help to delete the original version of altbinz that I had before and start fresh"

ok, deleting the old version and starting fresh was the way to go.  Now I am trying to do the Setup all over again, but the Quick Start Guide has screenshots that don't match with the new 39.9 version.  I tried to follow the instructions with screenshots from earlier versions, but still cannot connect.  I have the server data with login/password in but still nothing when I try to connect.  The Connection screen has the same data that was on the screenshot, so I don't know what I'm doing that's incorrect.  Is there another Quick Start Guide out there that has screenshots to match the new version?

You've started the new version just once. It clearly says when you enter your forum username/password to restart altbinz.
