alt binz download speed

Hi everybody, I ve just installed alt binz but my download speed is only 110 kB/s. For your info my os is windows 7 ultimate and my firewall is eset 4. My alt binz is set to 10 connections unlimitted speed with ssl port 563. I am gratefull to your help or suggestions. Thank you

As ever, make sure you exclude Alt.Binz & NNTP scanning from firewall & antivirus.

I am a newbee and I dony know so much in this matter. Would you please tell me how I can exclude Alt.Binz and NNTP from my firewall and antivirus. I am using Eset smart security 4. Appreciate your help. Thks

You'll need to look in your antivirus documentation for that info. First confirm that the speeds your seeing aren't what you're expecting - run an online speedtest, try another client etc. Your ISP may also be throttling NNTP traffic - check their policy.

All other things being equal, Alt.Binz will always use your maximum available bandwidth.
