Info needed

First of all thanks for a great bit of software. I have just download a 1.4 gb file but in doing so this application says it has transferred over 5 gigs worth of data! What on earth am I doing wrong? Also it seems to keep adding more and more folders of what appears as the same files but adding an extra 'x' each time to the end of the name?

Is there some setting that I need to set to prevent this?

Thanks for that, I thought I was doing something wrong.

Looks to me as if this is an inherent bug in the program that is still to be fixed! It's a shame that given the attention that has been given to this, it is still to be fixed.

Perhaps, but it's related to specific antivirus programs as you can tell from that thread and others.  Only a minority of users have experienced it (I *never* have with AVG).   Rdl wasn't able to reproduce it, as I recall (when he was still working on the progy), so that made it difficult to find a complete solution.  But you need to isolate your altbinz & download folders from your antivirus, it seems.
