Hi all,
i have been having trouble getting alt binz to download as keep getting error saying incorrect username or password.
my cousin accicdently got some little virus on my lappy and so i had to do system restore and clean up to get rid of it.
i tried to download using nzb then alt binz as normal but it came up with an access error message.
i tried to google the error message and came across a forum with alt binz users and some said they had same error and there fix was to uninstall current alt binz and re-download.
i downloaded the same version as before 0.25 version and it seemed to recognise my set-up as it was before , but now comes up with invalid username or password when try to connect.
i have tried to input the name and password in alt binz set-up (what i thought was user & password) but no joy.
i have also tried few other passwords and users i use but just cannot get it going.
is there anyway to :
1. enter new user and password ?
2. have details sent to my email which could be used to verify ?
thx in advance for answers

which usenet provider do u use?

Since you're using 0.25.0, no username or password is needed to run Alt.Binz itself. Both of your questions about server login details need to be directed to your usenet provider - Alt.Binz has nothing to do with those.
Be sure to click the Apply button when you add/change any details in Alt.Binz server setup.

You can simply delete the server entry you' ve made and/or make a new one with a different name.
Please doublecheck that password, username, serveradress and port you've entered match those that astraweb gave you. If that doesn't resolve the problem contact astraweb support to find out what is going on with your account.
