Title: Is there a way to average download speed stats

My Internet fluctuates between 600 Kbps and 1000 Kbps, making it hard to estimate the queue remaining time which fluctuates similarly.

Is there a way to average the download speed stat, say by a few seconds, to give a more stable reading / time estimate?
