Strange issue and hard one for me to explain so please bear with me
Basically every know and then I will download an NZB and either delete it (usually by accident) or move it etc
So I need to download it again

However when I add it to AltBinz it does not download, rather it slowly completes to 100% but does not exist on my computer anywhere I can find it

It is as if the program is saying "you have downloaded this before, im just going to check if it completed"

Probably not explained that very well, but if anyone understands you may be able to help

I guess its probably some form of history / cache setting - however I cleared history in settings and that was still same

are there files of the same name in the designated download folder? are u sure the imported files aren't simply paused because the were previously downloaded?

Just tried it again,

go to download again

the size goes down
my download speed remains at 0
my connections say "downloading article"

Files "completes" but does not show anywhere

Ok, manged to get round to looking at this again

The log shows it trying to start the article
then shows an error
followed by a further error saying no such article

However it only does this is if I have previous downloaded (and then deleted) the item previous

It has to be a setting issue somewhere as I actually formatted my main hard drive and did a resintall of everything

it then downloaded the item I wanted fine
however as soon as I deleted it and then tried to download again the problem returned

Its also not "file" dependent but "item" dependent

I have just tried to download a file thats a newer version of a previously downloaded item that I have since deleted
different size, different file name but same item

Again not downloading

There ist the Download-Option "skip if file is already downloaded". Have you checked this?

That sounded so obvious that I felt such an idiot that not noticed it before
So altered that, restarted and thought problem would be solved

but :( no, still same
