Title: Last Major Release
Post by: Chuckle123 on February 23, 2010, 11:24:28 pm
First let me start off by saying that I am a Newsleecher user  :-\, and I am very impressed by what Alt.Binz offers.  I am even more so by the level of support that is given.  I wish I had found out about Alt.Binz long ago.  I have not contributed yet, but plan on doing so soon.  The trial release alone is well worth the contribution.  Finally my question, do the releases work the same as other applications; Major and beta releases?

First of all, if you didn't see it, changes are in here. https://www.altbinz.net/index.php?page=vhistory

Second, there are no beta releases. :) Just "incremental" updates. If a bug is found it will be fixed in a new/next version (on rare occasions in the current version).

no usualy every once in a while there is a new version there might be some features included that are still in beta stage, but there are no formal beta versions up until now. version 0.31.4 has been updated two or three times to include more bugfixes and the filemode but i would guess thats more of a one time thing.

Yes, I saw the Release List; thanks.  Incremental builds works for me.  :)
