All ok Thanks I had a image backup on usb drive and recovered all information.
My heads spinning .Decided to play some games so bought a CV N460Se graphics card for my acer my limit was my 475W power supply
Read instruction book useless,
Put card in. Acer have a sheet of metal at the back of case for shielding it wouldn't let the card fit took me hours to find and fix as it is hard to see. turned on computer all ok put in gc driver disk and boom it bombed lost everything.
On vga searched found out I should have uninstalled other driver first.
All ok do a system restore no images showed on my usb drive.Mucked around for another 48 hrs or so.That was when I sent the password query with red blobs before my eyes.
An anvil fell on my head this morning the reason could not see image on drive was that I had several images (originalWindowsImageBackup, juneWindowsImageBackup etc) and windows only sees the WindowsImageBackup folder for a image so renamed my folder restored.
Tears of joy are flowing down my chest graphics are brilliant now all I have to do is get 3D monitor and glasses.
