Error Parsing Results work around
« on: October 19, 2008, 11:09:36 pm »
I love Alt.Binz and was upset that it is somewhat broken. So for all the fans. I have a workaround until the problem is solved by someone a lot smarter than me. Use your browser and find your favorite NZB website. Save your selected NZB file in the Alt.Binz NZB folder. When you have are ready to download the file. Open Alt.Binz click on the NZB tab. Open the selected file. Connect to your server and download. This has worked great for me for the last 24 hours. Hope this will help someone....Chungsters

hi chungsters!

thanks a lot for trying to help other people with your findings! however I fear most will already know how manually importing NZB files works coz that's the way most used to do it before rdl made abz with all the wonderfl options to search within the program and import the NZBs directly.

anyway please keep up your helpful attitude, it's very much appreciated!

Alt.Binz is not broken.  Only one search engine works in the free version 0.25.0 (release one year ago), but everything else is fine inlcuding NZB importing, as you've discovered (drop them in your autoimport folder).  We're at version 0.28.2 now, which is obviously much improved (only Newzleech not working, but will be fixed in next version probably).  Click the Donate button for info.

Anyway, thanks but there's no need to continue this.
