Delete after unraring problem
« on: October 16, 2013, 06:21:32 am »
Hi

I'm not sure if I have things setup up properly, but I still have "leftover" files after the unraring has taken place.

I have selected both "Delete archives" and "Delete empty folder", further, I have the following file extensions specified too:
  • *.sfv
  • *.md5
  • *.srr
  • *.rar
  • *.nfo
  • *.par2

However, the final result looks like this:

Then I also have one random RAR file leftover too for some reason:

What options am I missing here?

(The final outcome is that my files are fine and intact...it's just the leftover nonsense I want to rid automatically)

Thanks!

Why are there 2 rar sets?

Apologies, I should have clarified - there's a rar set for each file I downloaded.

So .r00 - .r14 belongs to the one, while part12.rar the other.

So, in first case at least one file (*.rar) got deleted and in 2nd at least 11?

Pretty much. I'm more concerned with all the leftover rar/r01 etc. that are not deleted.

Are some of my filters redundant? (i.e. the *.rar?)

I'll check the logs when back in front of the laptop and see if that can yield anything.

You could try removing *.rar

Okay, so tried another download. The extract worked perfectly, but again left some *.rar's behind.

From part 27...

To part 220...

I removed the *.rar as recommended. So my settings are:

Setup >> Par2

Setup >> Par2 >> Unrar

Did I miss something?

The only "Errors" I see in the log file are:
[Main] [15] Error while listing files inside archive

Okay, last one for now  ;)

This was the last download carried out. All files still present and not deleted.

All errors pointed to this:
[2013/10/17 05:59:49 AM] [Main] [RAR] Error, file is missing: C:\Users\[user-name]\Downloads\[file_name].r00

Could you log altbinz file operations with sysinternals process monitor?

I have logged the same download now. How do I share the file?

Thanks!

Problem fixed via teamviewer.

Keep your download folder unique and not the same as nzb folder and not the same as your nzb autoimport folder :)
