Hi all.

This may sound like a stupid question, but what's the Newsgroup tab for and what's the point of selecting favourites?

I've been using Alt.binz for about a month now but still haven't discovered what's the point of this tab :oops:

It's for selecting which groups you prefer to browse in.

As far as I know, it only works in connection to Xpat - so if your newsprovider doesn't support this feature, the Newsgroup-tab cannot be used to any good.

However, it would be nice if one could be able to select "Favorites" from the select/dropdown in one of the search-tabs (Newzleech, Binsearch etc.).

I'd thought that myself.
