Not Connecting
« on: October 27, 2011, 05:58:51 am »
Hello guys i have a problem, i have Alt.Binz on my desktop and my laptop. Before i used to download stuff from both PCs but now my desktop's Alt.Binz doesn't connect anymore. Like if you click Connect, at the bottom it keeps saying "connecting....." rather than "connected and autherized" so right now i can only download from my laptop which works perfectly fine only if i leave the laptop on till a download is finished, so it would really help if i could download stuff from altbinz on my desktop. If somebody has a solution for this problem, please help  :)

On my desktop when i press Connect, at the bottom it keeps saying "connecting...." rather than "Connected and Authorized". Basically it's not connecting, even though internet is working fine. I just need it to connect so i can download stuff. Please help  :)

It's difficult to know what to suggest when dealing only with abstract facts.  You've told us that in the past downloading worked on your PC; now it doesn't. What changed on your PC between working and not working?

To hazard a guess, possible issues might be with your firewall (was it updated or changed?). If so, go through the usual steps of granting the right permissions for Alt.Binz.
