Hi,

Ive just installed new 50meg download, as 10meg was abit slow, ive noticed today after downloading about 10% i go from 3500K download down to about 100k, i thought this was 10meg connection being traffice mananged but 50meg which iam on now has got that policy and ive check the speed and at prsent iam at 50meg, is there something in alt.binz setup which after a certain amount of data it slows,  my newsgroup is giga and i pay for unlimited so i cant see it being an issue with that.

If changing ports (try 80 for non-SSL, or 443 for SSL) doesn't do it, and since you already have Giganews, you could try their VyprVPN service (free with Diamond accounts) then let us know if it's any good.

Hecks ive just setup the VPN and it works a treat, iam getting 10meg a sec download, and VM hasnt throttled my speed.

I would like to use a service like VyprVPN but can't afford it. The monthly charge on those services are ridiculous. $20/month is a lot. That pretty much eliminates almost the whole middle class. Does anyone actually use it and benefit from it?
