PAR check-> Unrar-> save or burn
« on: January 21, 2009, 01:09:14 am »
Usually everything I download comes in parts using RAR files. Most of you probably get these also, since that's the usual way large files are split up. Is there an automated way that Binz will PAR check the files, and then unrar them automatically?

Maybe some experts can help me to save some time. This is what I usually do...with my old news reader. Trying out Binz to see how it works.

Ok, I'll download a bunch of stuff. Most come down in RAR files. After the downloads are complete I'll do a PAR check with Quick Par manually. Then I'll UNrar the files into another folder. Then use or burn. Anyway to save time on this process? I have a pretty quick computer, but that PAR check takes it time. I'm sure some experts can point me in the right direction to save some time or better procedures? Thank you very much...

Thanks. After taking the time, which I should have the first time found out I don't have to do anything extra after something downloads. All that PAR checking and UNraring is done automatically. I've spend quite a lot of money on News Rover over the years, but that is straying away from what I'm looking it to do. I was a loyal customer to them, and every suggestion I had to make the software better wasn't really taken seriously. After a couple week, if Binz is worth it, I'll donate. Why not.
